Two great friends of Sónar: Christian Fennesz and Alva Noto, renowned musicians in their own right, will embark on a groundbreaking collaboration in honour of the late Ryuchi Sakamoto. Entitled ‘Continuum’, this special performance will pay tribute to Sakamoto's legacy while pushing the boundaries of musical innovation.

The collaboration was born out of a shared admiration for Sakamoto's work and a desire to carry forward his collaborative spirit. Drawing inspiration from the past, the two artists have joined forces to create a musical continuum that bridges generations. At Sónar 2025 we will be privileged witnesses to one of the greatest tributes to one of the key figures in our 32-year history.
